Three Magic Blog Carnivals (and More)

Can I Get Rich On A Salary participated in three personal-finance blog carnivals this past week.

[Editor’s Note: In case you are not familiar with blog carnivals, a blog carnival is a multi-blog event in which a number of bloggers aggregate their articles within a certain theme or subject area into one post. The “host” of the carnival writes up the post on his or her blog and includes links to the various articles. Hopefully, this helps readers as they get a “one stop shop” of articles. I post a weekly recap of the blog carnivals in which I have participated—and try also to cull out a few articles that I’d like to share with you here.]

Mrs. Micah: Finance for a Freelance Life hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance #158 : Vampire Slaying Edition. Here are a few of the posts that gave me blood-curdling screams:

Jesse of You Need a Budget reminds us that living within your means is a two-part equation
FrugalTrader at Million Dollar Journey has written a primer on how to buy and sell shares on the stock market
Flexo from Consumerism Commentary explains target retirement funds, their advantages and drawbacks…
Millionaire Mommy Next Door reveals a dirty little secret. She knows better than to hide her old possessions, and plans to make some changes to free herself from her past to be open to abundance…
Visit the Carnival to check out the pics, tips, and video of vampire-slaying action! My post, The Price Of Your Favorite Color, was included—and was selected as an Editor’s Pick! Thanks for the honor, Mrs. Micah!

The Dividend Guy hosted the Carnival of Money Stories Edition #65. Here is a sampling of the stories:

Visit the rest of the Carnival! My post, Success Stories: Buy Stock at Age 10, Hold for 40+ Years, Retire Early, was included under Investing.

Post a Comment

Comments are what make lots of blogs go 'round. Thank you for participating in this blog by adding a comment!

Also, my apologies. The comment spam coming into this blog has really been on the rise, and the word verification feature does not seem to be slowing it down very well. So for now, I am trying the addition of a registration (OpenID/Google/similar) requirement for leaving comments.
